What i have learnt from researching peoples favourite genres is that 

overall there are many varieties of choices. Indie just managed to be the most popular closely followed by Drum + Bass. With Indie being the most popular that will be the genre I am going to use in my magazine. 

I am going to research deeper into what Indie fans are interested in and what they would like to see in a magazine. I will try to find a gap in the market for my magazine to fit in. If i can think of an original successful idea I can manage to attract a wide audience.

Also being an Indie fan myself will also help me to successfully target the audience and create an exciting new Indie magazine.
